Helping Organizations Grow a Network Around A Good Idea

Quill.org, a small organization, was selected to join the EGF Accelerator because of a game-changing idea: create free, open-sourced online tools to make sure everyone, including low-income students, could learn to write and write well. The EGF Accelerator staff began to connect the leaders of the organization with educational researchers and classroom teachers. In the first year, a clear blueprint for the product began to take shape. Thoughtful foundations executives, many of whom keep close tabs on the EGF Accelerator organizations, began to show interest and initial support.

Getting a nonprofit off the ground is incredibly challenging – it doesn't happen overnight – and the EGF Accelerator's commitment to multi-year funding provides early-stage organizations with the support they need to take that leap and grow.
